I took on a new contract with a nonprofit focused on black, brown & Pacific Islander students building resiliency and successfully completing a 4-year degree. The vision and mission of this organization is inspiring. And, there were old stories and practices that needed to change in order for healing and growth to occur. I came in with my “Olivia Pope of the Bay Area” self and it was on. I am proud of the team who courageously leaned into partnership and the future newly.
